We collect very little, we use it only to answer you, and we never sell it. This policy explains exactly what we hold, why, for how long, and how to get it back or have it deleted.

01
Who we are and what this covers
Yakkaspace Services Private Limited (“Yakkaservices”, “we”, “us”, “our”) designs, installs and maintains ICT, ELV, BMS, AV and life safety infrastructure for clients across India, the UAE and Oman. Our registered office is at #26, Rahul Towers, Ramco Garden, Thanjavur – 613005, Tamil Nadu, India.
This policy covers the personal data we collect through yakkaservices.com, when you send an enquiry, request a quotation, book a call, or apply for a job.
It does not cover data we process inside systems we build for our clients. If we have commissioned a CCTV system, access control platform or building management system at a client’s site, that client decides what is collected and why. They are the data fiduciary; we act only on their documented instructions, under contract. Their privacy policy governs that data, not this one.
02
Information we collect
We ask for the minimum needed to respond to you properly.
Enquiry and quotation details, your name, work email, phone number, company, job title, country, and whatever you choose to tell us about your project or site.
Job applications, your name, contact details, CV, work history, qualifications, and anything else you include when applying through our Careers pages.
Website usage data, IP address, the approximate city it resolves to, browser and device type, operating system, pages viewed, referring site, and time spent. Collected through cookies and analytics.
Correspondence, a record of the emails, calls and messages between us, so whoever picks up your enquiry has the context.
We collect this information directly from you. We do not buy contact lists or enrich your record from data brokers.
What we do not collect on this website: payment card or bank details. Usernames or passwords, there is no login. Demographic information such as your age or gender. Any special or sensitive category data. If a page ever asks you for something in this list, treat it as a phishing attempt and tell us.

Under the UAE and Oman PDPLs we rely on your consent, or on the necessity of processing to perform a contract with you.
We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling.
04
Cookies and analytics
We use cookies for two things: making the site work, and understanding how it’s used.
Essential cookies, load the site, remember your cookie choice, and protect our forms from spam. These can’t be switched off.
Analytics cookies, tell us which pages get read, which get skipped, and where visitors drop off. We use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity. Clarity also builds heatmaps and records anonymised session replays, mouse movement, clicks and scrolling, so we can see where a page confuses people. It is configured to mask what you type into forms. These only run if you accept them.
You can refuse or withdraw analytics consent at any time through the cookie banner, or by clearing cookies in your browser. Refusing them changes nothing about how the site works for you.
We do not run advertising or retargeting pixels on this website.
05
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal data. We do not share it with advertisers, and we do not pass it to third parties for their own marketing. We share your data only with:
Service providers, who run parts of our operation, website hosting, form handling, CRM, email, analytics. They act only on our instructions, under contract, and cannot use your data for their own purposes.
Our regional teams and affiliated entities, in India, the UAE and Oman, so your enquiry reaches the people who can actually answer it.
Professional advisers, auditors, lawyers, insurers, where genuinely necessary.
Authorities, where we are legally required to disclose, or where we need to establish or defend a legal claim. We don’t hand over data on an informal request.
06
Where your data goes
We operate across India, the UAE and Oman, and our systems are administered from India. An enquiry you send from Dubai or Muscat will likely be read and stored in India.
Our analytics providers, Google and Microsoft, process website usage data on infrastructure outside India under their own terms.
When we transfer personal data across borders, we do it only to countries not restricted by the Central Government under the DPDP Act, and under contractual safeguards that hold the receiving party to the protections set out in this policy. Under the UAE and Oman PDPLs, we transfer on the basis of your consent or contractual necessity, with equivalent protection in place.
07
How long we keep it
We don’t keep data indefinitely on the chance it becomes useful.
Data
Kept for
Enquiries that don’t become projects
12 months from your last contact with us, then deleted
Job applications
12 months from the decision, unless you ask us to keep you on file for longer
Analytics data
26 months, then aggregated
Marketing consent records
Until you withdraw, plus a record of the withdrawal itself
Once an enquiry becomes a project, your data moves into our business systems and is handled under our contract with you rather than under this policy. This website holds no client project records.
When the purpose is served and no legal obligation requires us to hold it, we erase it or irreversibly anonymise it.
08
Your rights
Whatever your data, wherever you are, you can ask us to:
Tell you what we hold, a summary of your personal data, what we’re doing with it, and who we’ve shared it with.
Erase it, delete your data where we no longer need it for the purpose you gave it for, and no law requires us to keep it.
Withdraw your consent, at any time, as easily as you gave it. This doesn’t undo processing already carried out lawfully.
Nominate someone, under the DPDP Act, you may nominate another individual to exercise these rights on your behalf if you die or become incapacitated.
Complain, if you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, see “Questions and complaints” below.
Email us and we’ll respond within 30 days. We may need to verify who you are first, that’s a protection for you, not an obstacle. There’s no charge.
09
Security
We maintain administrative, technical and physical safeguards appropriate to the data we hold: access is restricted to the people who need it to do their job, data is encrypted in transit, and our staff and contractors are bound by confidentiality obligations.
No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, so we can’t promise absolute security. What we can promise: if a breach affects your personal data, we will notify you and the Data Protection Board of India, and the relevant UAE or Oman authority where applicable, as the law requires, and we won’t sit on it.
